Saturday Mornings Rock with Kid British
Saturday Morning Rocks with Kid British was a private one day event organised in recognition of pupil’s excellent school attendance. A group of approximately two hundred secondary school children together with teachers / chaperones, were invited to an exclusive gig with the Manchester based band Kid British at the Hard Rock Café at the Printworks. The aim of the event was for to provide a fun celebration for those pupils who had successful completed The Attendance Challenge as well as to have some built in aspirational exercises that would appeal to the age and tone of the event.
The event was organised by MOTIV CIC, a social enterprise company which improves school attendance and raises aspirations of young people in Manchester. Nine Lives Productions worked in partnership with MOTIV CIC to plan the event from conception to delivery and continues to provide event management services for all their events and activities.
